20th September 2010 We love the hong kong restaurant.
Such an inviting, happy and friendly place to visit.
Definite value for money. Especially impressed with the smorgasboard we got the time before last that we visited.
There food is cooked to perfection, tastes yummy as and there is always a smile and a laugh to be shared.
7th February 2013 What an appaling experience! Firstly, the woman 'greeter' would not come to me, I had to go to her to tell her I wanted the buffet. The decor is tacky beyond comprehension. It looked as though it was once an italian restaurant and instead of renovating when it was bought the new owners simply filled it with cheap, kitchy symbols of mass production. Everything was dirty: floors, cutlery, salt and pepper shakers. I was the only customer in the place so I asked if the stereo ( playing terrible asian pop) could be turned down so I could watch the news, she did not comply with this request and looked at me with contempt when I asked. Food was obviously yesterdays leftovers, dry meat, soggy vegetables, I simply could not stomach it...horrible! They actually have signs on the wall saying you must pay double if you leave dirty plates, unbelievable! I was not asked if I wanted a drink, was watched like a criminal at the buffet. Had to wait 5 mins to pay. No smile, no thank you. Will never return...disgusting!

10th March 2011 Went there for a meal on my wifes suggestion as it was our annivesary. Food was very dry, and maybe covers could be used. We were only diners at the time, and the food looked like it had been there all day. Sure, you can stack your plate high, but its really only worthwhile if the food is good. To be honest, it was lucky to be rated as takeaway quality.

3rd October 2010 Buffet has lots on offer. The food tastes not bad, but always leaves us feeling unwell about half an hour after eating. We think it's due to soo much of it being deep-fried (?). It tastes good, but wouldn't go there too often, it's too hard on our digestive systems!
