A bit about Freight Haulage Ltd's history:

Southland Freight Haulage was established in 1968, formed as a result of the amalgamation of Ian Guise Limited, Ohai Carrying Co and Ohai Freight Service.

In 1989 the Invercargill branch was purchased by Ken and Bill Richardson and was renamed Freight Haulage 1989 Limited, with ownership later being taken over fully by H W Richardson Group Limited.

Freight Haulage 1989 Limited has changed in that time, now having a current fleet of twenty-two trucks, seven forklifts, one 20'40'container top lifter, and two loaders. We currently have a permanent staff of thirty, along with a group of casual employees.

We currently have 20,500m2 of under cover storage. The Clifton site gave Freight Haulage 1989 Limited the ability to grow their business, and with this site came 20 acres of land.

As part of our commitment to NZAS we can offer more than 5000m2 of storage facilities for their raw material products as well as their export product.
