We cook the legendary Indian food dishes of North India, The Punjab. Our careful preparation makes out Indian food beautiful to behold and addictive to the palate.
4th October 2010 Highly enjoyed my meal here, the food was fantastic and the service was wonderful. For the quality overall I thought it was reasonably priced. It is by far the best Indian restaurant I have tried in Wellington.
25th January 2011 Arriving at 12.15 on a Friday afternoon, it was a full twenty minutes before anyone came to even take a drink order. It was then a further forty minutes before the meals arrived, so an entire hour between arriving and receiving our food, unacceptable for a workday lunch. I had ordered the lamb vindaloo and requested it 'hot', I would describe what I received as 'medium' at best. Two of our naan breads never arrived, after questioning the waiter one of the two finally came. After another ten minutes I went to the desk to again ask about my naan bread. The maitre d' suggested it had been sent to the table and that one of my group must have eaten two naans, I explained that was a preposterous suggestion. He then asked if I still wanted the naan! On returning to my table my naan finally appeared after all our meals were finished. Paying for my meal the maitre d' again tried to argue that my original naan had been delivered and someone in my group must have eaten two. So he was basically calling me a liar. There was no offer of a discount to the meal, which you would normally expect in this situation as part of good customer service. I will never eat in this restaurant again.

19th August 2010 Great service, great good, BYO, what more can you ask for in a restaurant.
We went here as a group of 15 for a friends birthday dinner. Their staff were extremely polite and their food was cooked and served in a reasonable amount of time.
It ended up costing us around 30 dollars each and we all ordered a curry, rice and a bread. We also shared entrees. I tried their onion bhaji, their pakora, their chicken vindaloo and their naan with cottage cheese, all very yummy!
Corkage is only 4 dollars per bottle - cheap as!
Would definately recommend for others. The thing I liked the most about this restaurant is that they did not force us to leave after we finished our meals and let us stay, chat and enjoy the atmosphere.

19th August 2010 My favourite Indian Restaurant.
The food is just perfect (and don't be afraid to try Indian Hot curry as well, it may burn coming out, but the taste is amazing)
This is definitely a great choice if you want to go out with a few friends. Just make sure you compliment the yummy curries with a good Indian beer :)
Oh and if you want to have some cheesy fun, try going to Little India dressed as cowboys. No one else may get the joke, but you will chuckle all through dinner lol

7th July 2010 Reliable, dependable, and consistently good food. If you can't decide on anywhere else, try this place. Prices are reasonable and they stay open late, even on holidays. Perfect for a dark, rainy night, and you're looking to chill out with some curry and Indian beer.

24th June 2010 The food is fantastic. The website needs information which states delivery hours and if there is going to be a delay. It is frustrating when waiting for an hour or more for food to be delivered. Lots of stars for food, not so much for delivery service. Am hoping this will improve.
