Precision CNC milling is Metalspray's specialty area of expertise. Installed is the latest CAM software that makes possible three and two dimensional machining. Products range from Shell Mould Core Boxes to Plastic Injection Moulding Tools.

Metalspray's comprehensive range of precision engineering equipment accommodates a full range of engineering disciplines, including turning, milling, grinding of gear cutting (metric and modular), internal splines and gears. Our expertise and commitment to maintenance for clients is reflected by our 24 hour seven days a week service.

Our metalspraying expertise is recognised Otago/Southland wide. It's what we do best spraying a uniform layer of molten metal on a host surface at low temperatures, preventing distortion and/or stress. This is vital when spraying bearing or seal surfaces. Metalspraying can be applied to bronze, copper, aluminium, stainless steel, steel and ceramic surfaces.

Metalspray has 3 CNC mills, a spark eroder and Fanuc Robocut a-iA wirecut machine. These enable Metalspray to produce intricate shapes and profiles to exacting specifications for both press tools and plastic molds. Our machines are complimented by our skilled toolmakes with over 80 years of combined experience.
