12th January 2014 I've never actually been in CD Wainuiomata although judging by your comments it doesn't sound like the best place; here's some advice: contact the store manager and tell him/her what you want from their store. They may not be aware that there's not enough checkout open etc. You'll be surprised what improvements may actually be made if you tell them.

23rd January 2013 Disgusting store, unfortunately I was never in Wainui when they had a New World. I'm from the northern suburbs and have recently been going to Wainui NW for food/drink as the girlfriend lives there. The staff are rubbish as are the number of staff on checkouts. Every time I've been out to Countdown, it has been understaffed. It is an embarrassment to Progressive Enterprises just like Woolworths Tawa was. I'm now regularly making the drive over to New World in Lower Hutt to avoid that embarrassment of a supermarket. You'll see no more of my hard earned money going into Progressive pockets. I notice that neither Progressive nor Countdown have a Twitter page, is this because you cannot moderate the feedback there? Its the only reason now days that large public facing businesses avoid it!!!

24th December 2012 I find it annoying and frustrating that they never have enough checkouts open, they would make you queue for ages and when you finally get to the operator you are ignored buy some staff, the store is so busy now that new world is closed I think more checkout operators are required and the staff need to told that it is a competitive market and customer service is key.

14th January 2008 I find it annoying that they always close off the entry and you have to walk through the check outs to get in. I also find it frustrating that if you go shopping on a Sunday, their shelves are mostly empty. Also, they only have vegetarian food intermittently.
