6th May 2012 moving from auckland was a big move for me and my four year old son, yet the doors of salvation army here in warspite welcomed us with God fearing love, support and much needed preaching of Gods word on sunday.
We managed to get into the emergency houses on the same day of our appointment and the major that dealt with us that day made my day with her warm and most loving spirit. Gods love and grace shone through her and i was overwhelmed by the service we received that day.
I am a christian myself and was looking for a body of christ to belong to, and on sunday we attended the service at the church. To say that God works in misterious ways, i never thought i'd get such overwhelming and overflowing love and support from the services provieded by the salvation army in warspite but they delievered, through the work of the budgeting advisors, the socal workers, the family store, the counsellor and the front service with the most cheerful and welcoming recceptionist made me a home with them, they are now are my family i found God led us there for a reason and if it wasnt for the services and support of the salvationists team and the officers there, me and my son wouldnt be where we are right now...so from a grateful and humble heart i say thank you so much for the great service....your team and myself and my son are serving a mighty God and he will reward his children plentifully with the heavenly luxury he has already prepared in advance for us....Godbless
