Excellent, immediately entering City GP's you're greeted genuinely respectfully and efficiently. When called in to Dr Kalderimis your treated as above, with utmost respect and genuine concern for my well being. Dr Kalderimis is a Doctor who does 'Get it' and has a wealth of experience, if not he will consult other such health professionals as to the best care. This is what it's all about, I could be the famous Wellington 'Blanket Man' or the 'King of Siam' (not really :) Maybe the 'Queen of Sheba' :) not really, in fact I'm just no one, no one who's made to feel someone when I come to seek advice from the best source re my healthcare. Thank you Dr Chris and the Team at City GP's. I did try to persuade the DomPost to publish the following letter but I think they're tired of hearing from me whilst I recuperate :) Hee hee well deserved letter as follows: LETTERS TO THE EDITOR DOCTORS ORDERS It's heartenening to see that throughout 2011 DomPost Editorial have remained true to quality. I refer to 'Doctors Notes', a regular column in the "Life" Section of Wednesdays Dominion Post written by Dr Chris Kalderimis, a well known and very highly respected Wellington GP. Health and well being are paramount, I applaud Dr Kalderimis for remaining steadfast in his ethic of care and making time in his busy schedule to produce this column. He offers sound health advice which is, affordable, accessible and appropriate for all, Thank you. I know health practitioners who make a point of keeping each instalment of 'Doctors Notes' to wisely add to their resource file. Of concern are increasing numbers of people resorting to the internet for health care. The internet is a great resource but one which can overwhelm, confuse and have people fearing the worst alone at a computer! Nothing compares to an appointment with your Doctor, who listens, assesses, orders appropriate tests for diagnosis, most of all they know you, read the signs, understand, reassure, advise, offer support and comfort, all this from the most valid and trusted source, your Doctor.
