A small, warm, fellowship, The Church of Christ in Thames upholds the biblical doctrine of Conditional Immortality; that only God is immortal, and that human beings become immortal by his gift only. The consequence of this is that the withdrawal of the gift of life leads to the extinction of the individual human soul. Thus, Hell is a place of eternal annihilation rather than a place of eternal suffering.
