Le Chalet Suisse Motel, Lake Taupo is situated just a 4 minute walk from the shops and restaurants of Taupo township and only 100 meters from the shores of beautiful Lake Taupo. Most of units have magnificent views of the lake and mountains, are well equipped, and spacious. Our facilities are extensive and include a covered spa pool (most units also have spas) as well as a large year round heated swimming pool. A guest laundry is also available.

Disappointed - rooms cold, small, old, shabby. Heated pool had leaves/bark floating in it, lukewarm. Spa area in total dissray, pavers dug up, spa empty. We moved on after disagreement with owner - didn't get full refund felt ripped off.
