23rd December 2010 Stunning surroundings, the food is very good both cabinet and a la carte. Very big portions. The coffee is Allpress, this far away from Auckland must show a genuine interest in a quality product.
14th August 2011 For Staters the coffee was burnt and tasted foul. The seating was cold away from the fire. We waited a ridiculous hour and 15 minutes for our meals and watched people who came in and ordered after us get their food and leave before we even had our meals. Didnt get told there was going to be a wait for the food. Ive been to many cafe/bars in my time and never experienced anything like this before. To make things even worse we went to manager after the meal to complain, got no apology, was rude and didnt really seem to care. we will never stop here again and definatly wont be reccomending to anyone. This is the first time we have evr had to complain about a cafe/bar and will hopefully be the last.

14th July 2010 this place is amazing even if you only stop for a coffee and to look at the view its a must do. i love to stop there and get a bowl of chips and a drink on my threw to Blenhiem and i just love it. my family often drive down there for lunch on the weekends its well worth the drive. I have also seen many weddings held there and they are truly amazing its such a great spot
