3rd August 2010 I've enjoyed so much coming back to new Zealand and sampling all the amazing food we have and Bambina is definitely up there in the Cafe department. The bruschetta is the best anywhere and so is the chicken salad with pecorino and pear, but i'll say the coffee's a little too weak and not really hot enough.
Very bust so get in early.

23rd July 2010 Yes Bambina translates to little one, but good things come in small packages and this wee cafe in Ponsonby is no exception. Warm and friendly, this cosy cafe offers perfect comfort food for a cold winters day, and the aroma of coffee fills the room deliciously.

13th July 2010 Went there for a coffee yesterday. nice staff, good service. weekends are chaos though. the big table with crayons for the kids does attract young mums and hung over dads on a saturday morning. trying to get to the counter past 14 Phil & Ted buggies is an olympic sport in itself. good way of working off the excellent brioche though.
Best coffee in Auckland! Great risotto as well!
