23rd July 2010 Cafe Kohi Easily rates as the best cafe in the bays. The coffee is excellent (Allpress beans). The menu changes frequently and the food is superb. It's a little on the pricey side, but that comes with the view.
7th April 2011 The perfect spot for Sunday brunch if you can get a table. I agree with a previous reviewer who mentioned it could be noisy inside but believe the standard of service and food more than makes up for having to raise your voice to be heard.

29th November 2010 Nice relaxed atmosphere with easy light food. Inside was a little loud however, They make beautiful date scones served with butter as well!
Would like to see more variations though...

19th July 2010 I've heard a lot about Cafe Kohi - the great views, the good food, how the owners also own the famous Takapuna Beach Cafe....so we decided to pop in for brunch. Boy-oh-boy what a sensational view. Smack bang, right on the Kohi waterfront, this cafe is a lovely treat on a sunny day. I tried the porridge with chocolate flakes and raspberry sauce - quite a strange combo (a little too sweet for breakfast to be honest), but I have it on good authority that the eggs benedict with bacon was spot on. Good atmosphere, attentive staff and perfectly prepared peppermint tea. Nice one.

14th July 2010 Lovely location, especially on a warm and sunny day. However the food selection is not that great on the menu or in the cabinet.
Great coffee however!
