2nd September 2010 I love waimata cheese its in my view the best cheese you can get!!
I have been munching this delicacy for a near decade with no such mishaps as the last comment, a combination of there cheeses in a soft bread for 30 secs in the microwawe with sweet tai chilli is almost to die for this chese is knowen by locals and is always a treatr with a loal wine with freinds.
Its no wonder the company has expanded to New Zealands largest supplier of soft cheeses, the owners even had to start there own Dairy farm in good old Gisborne just so they can get enuff milk solids furthermore they employ so many people that would otherwise not have jobs feedback from those employees are that its a awsum job with good pay.
20th January 2013 Been trying to get into Waitama cheese's website for the past week but with no success. Purchased Camembert and Brie cheese 2.5 weeks before due by date but both were no longer good to eat. Can't contact their customer service direct due to their website issues.

15th June 2010 This is the third time that I have had Camembert Cheese of the Waimata brand go off within days of purchasing it and still with 3 1/2 weeks to go before the use by date. Today is the 15th June 2010 and the use by date is the 7th of July. It is not the same use by date as the two that I had to return last week so it is not the batch number obviously that is the problem. -1 star rating
