6th November 2010 Most hotel restaurants have a somewhat clinical feel about them, but not The Chameleon. Service is crisp, prices are upper quartile, but still represent value, and the food is excellent. The lamb shanks are to be recommended if they're on the menu.
Chameleon Restaurant is positioned on the ground floor of Wellington's only internationally-branded 5-Star hotel, InterContinental Wellington. This central city location is close to the Westpac Stadium and TSB Bank Arena for your pre or post event/show meal.

9th October 2010 Has the most beautiful food I've ever eaten.
Of course the menu has changed since I went in 2009, but I had a lamb rack with vegetables and parsnip puree. Everything was perfect and tasted devine - have wanted to go back again ever since but alas have no one to go with.
Got my Dad and his wife a voucher for dinner there which they used 2 months ago and they also loved it.

22nd August 2010 Went there for dinner one night as some relatives were staying at the hotel. It was nice food, and they had nice service, but it seemed rather expensive for what you got. The lack of vegetarian options was disappointing.
