recomend you go later in the week so you can get the full experience of dancing on the tables etc, the food was great, even my fussy children ate from the menu,even tho they didn't really recognise any of the names of the dishes, also seemed wholesome and fresh, a thoroughly entertaining and nourishing night out

this place has an awesome greek feel to it.probably a good thing seeing it is a greek restaurant but it is really pulled off well and feels very genuine the food is melt in your mouth delicious and the waitresses arnt to bad either haha.

This is pretty much my favourite Restaurant in Christchurch! But we normally just get the entrees and breads etc because the meals are gigantic! But delicious! And always polite!! Its good to see fimilar faces when we come in every time!

One of our best restaurants. we continue to go back there time after time. Amazing menu, great atmosphere, excellent staff. You'll love it!!

Costas Taverna is a great place for a couple or a group of people. It's pretty spacious with very colourful Greek murals on the wall. The food is tasty with plenty of traditional options on offer. The wine list has plenty of well priced options.

Nice, friendly atmostphere - I had the souvalaki and really enjoyed it. Parking can be a wee bit tricky but for good food at resonable prices, I would recommend it.

I visited Costas Taverna for a group function on a cold wintery night. The restaurant was warm to enter but after 1/2 hour it was too hot. I ordered salata kosta (chicken salad)which was great value at 18.00, it was tasty and a large meal. Others in the group only had positives about their meals and the desserts were huge! I would definately return there.

Really good meal and great value for money, i first tried it using a enternatiment book voucher and really enjoied it so have been back twice since. but yes parking can be a bit hard
