On October 5th 1936, the Auckland Owner Carriers Association was formed. From its very beginning the Association's goal has been to benefit Owner Carriers and to find ways of improving the life of those who choose to earn their living with a vehicle.
Over the last 15 years Group Purchasing Schemes have been developed to use the combined purchasing power of the members to obtain better rates and services.
In addition to this the Association is actively involved in issues affecting the industry, making submissions on new legislation, lobbying for better roads, and other issues raised by members.
NRC is based in Penrose, Auckland. We utilise technology to provide our members nationwide with help, support and advice.
