Fetal Alcohol Support Trust (FAST) is a Charitable Trust that has been functioning as such since October 1998. We are a group of dedicated individuals who are committed to: 1. Promote the abstinence of drinking alcohol during pregnancy and whilst breastfeeding. 2. To support individuals and families of people with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD). 3. To advocate for the child and family affected with FASD. Referrals for Diagnosis. 4. To provide information to parents & professionals enabling a better understanding of FASD. We offer & provide the following services to the community: 1. Advocacy & support for clients that are seen to suffer with FASD. 2. Support for professionals who treat/service clients seen to suffer with FASD. 3. Education workshops for groups who wish to learn more about FASD. 4. Resources that educate surrounding FASD. 5. Lobbying for treatment needs. 6. Networking & Referrals to Professionals. 7. Membership rights to all interested. Being able to provide detailed information to all that we reach, families and professionals alike, grounds our service.
