Take a nostalgic journey back in time with a steam train ride through the beautiful Franklin countryside to historic Waiuku, 45 minutes Southwest of Auckland.

For over 35 years the Glenbrook Vintage Railway has been operating with regular journeys between Glenbrook Station and Fernleigh. Steam train journeys take approximately 1 hour and stop off at the Pukeoware Workshops so passengers can view other vintage locomotives and equipment. Hand and motor jigger rides also operate after the train has left Glenbrook Station.

Glenbrook Station is the perfect setting to enjoy a day out with hot and cold food available on operating days, a picnic area and children's playground, and a souvenir shop.
