Dunsandel Store, 40k south of Christchurch on the Main South Road is a must stop. It combines an old-fashioned country store and post office with a much acclaimed and loved caf and deli. The deli counter groans with house-made savoury food, cakes and slices while the seasonal caf menu features simple yet sophisticated food.

We are always delicious! Everything is made on the premises and much emphasis is placed on sourcing from local, free-range and organic producers. There is a concisely chosen wine and boutique beer list, and, of course, Dunsandel's own Camla Farm cider and single-variety apple juice.
