i went there to go from dark brown to blonde and it was a fantastic experience!!

they took care of me and my hair and i walked out feeling a million dollars (without paying a million dollars!)

there was minimal damage to my hair and it looks fabulous

i reccommend to anybody looking for either a cut to extreme change GO SEE ZENTRA

the team are friendly and experienced, the best hairdressing experience i have ever had... EVER!

I went to Zentra as a suprise birthday present to get my hair done, my mother booked an appointment for both of us. She was told that it would cost $99 for a cut, colour and blow wave but it is extra for long hair. When I got there I told them that I wanted to get my hair done blonde for the $99 deal and that I was aware that it would be extra as my hair was long. I was then told that the deal didn't include blonde hair (to my suprise as there was no mention of this on their $99 sign and no "conditions apply" either AND how convienent as blonde is probably the most popular colour) I was then told that it would cost $275 as my hair was "extreemly long" (it is about an 1-2 inches past my armpits) a pretty drastic leap from the $99 advertisement. I then just opted to get blonde foils, which ended up costing $175, this did not include toner or a hair cut - just foils. VERY EXPENSIVE! Not even Rodney Wayne charges that much...I have since inquired at two hairdresses who both said they would charge me $180 for a full blonde color, toner, cut and dry. I can also see what the above person means about the chatting to eachother, I was only spoken to about twice during my 3 hour experience here, the rest of the time they spent chatting to eachother. My hair looks ok, but not worth $175, my friends say it is not even that noticable. I think this was their chance to rip off a nice young girl on her birthday - rank..

I was disappointed with the service I received. The haircut was okay. But the fact that I had to wait while the hairdresser finished doing her beautician and apprentices hair before she got to me was a shame. My hair was then washed by the beautician before being cut by the stylist. The apprentices ride came to collect her and all 4 of them talked about the weekend and who was dating who, while I sat in the middle of the conversation which I was not part of getting my hair done (which they were also all commenting on). The building was very clean and tidy and everybody was friendly, it was just not good practice to put non paying staff before a paying client, and therefore not sticking to appointment times. On a positive note the price was very reasonable.
