Quite simply the dirtiest, least-well managed Lodge/hostel in Wellington. I've been in fouler places on the shores of Lake Malawi-but not by much. The kitchens are heavily populated by rodents and the management are unhelpful, often aggressive, churlish and evil. If this is all you can afford I'd suggest sleeping under a bridge-it'll be cheaper and cleaner-especially with summer coming up. If management could get the rodent hoardes into some sort of control, bother to address tenant concerns and stop filling the place with recent escapees from ward 27?jail the place could be improved appreciably. It isn't abad location and there is a bit of greenery around the place.
