Cobb & Co. represents all that is awesome about our childhood and celebrating with family and friends in New Zealand.
It is part of the iconic New Zealand story.
13th November 2011 I have dined at Cobb and Co. New Plymouth many times and had nothing but GREAT service, pleasant atmosphere, and cordial staff service; I go there whenever it is possible but have now decided to join your loyalty dining. Kath.
Famous for our milk, butter and cheese and our deliciously good Panfried Scallops.
Cobb & Co. New Plymouth is located on the one way system with access from both Courtenay Street and Leach Street. We offer plenty of off street parking with easy access to the restaurant including wheelchair access.
Our location is also within walking distance to many of the motels and hotels in New Plymouth. We are voted one of the top 5 favorite restaurants in New Plymouth by Move to Taranaki.

1st May 2011 Just to add when I went to pay and I told the waitress I wasnt impressed with the meal, she actually said to me "I dont blame you", then asked if I had filled out the complaint form, which we had and of course have had no reply from it. I dont know how beryl M could say "C&C meals always please" what we were presented with was disgusting!!! The place needs a kick in the pants!!!

3rd April 2011 We were lured in on a weekday , the advertising said $10 lunch menu which turned out to be one item - cottage pie, which we werent in the mood for so we decided to order off the menu. The watered was mildy friendly and forgettable, and took our order 1 x seafood basket 1 x open steak sandwich and one kids meal - hotdog and chips for a 3 year old. We were also offered the choice of free soup or sundae of which we chose 3 sundaes. We were then presented with a basket of deep fried snack things like taters I think they used to be called, they were undercooked hard and tasted of dirty oil, I wouldn't have fed them to my dog. The kids meal arrive with an adult sized hotdog on a stick on very brown round the edges chips at about a million degrees F. And our meals arrived soon after , first up the presentation wasnt great and the seafood basket had a huge lump of fish thrown on top, It was obvious the deep fryers hadn't been changed in a while. I didn't like having the tomato sauce arrive on my plate in the plastic portion container you have to peel the lid off, very tacky. Anyway to sum up we were not impressed the meal was quite disappointing and we felt ripped off after spending $60. This is not the Cobb & Co I remember as a kid. And there's no way I would recommend or ever take my family there again. We should have gone to MacDonalds and spent well under less the amount and knew what to expect.
