30th November 2010 Is for those looking for a fresh twist on standard brunch fare. And if you're just after something sweet to go with your coffee, the choice won't be easy.
4th November 2012 This morning's experience has spurred me to write a review. Both myself and my friend won't be back. We were one of three couples dining in at Savour & Devour on this Sunday morning. Our breakfasts arrived along with an apology for the lateness of our meals. My breakfast was not what had been ordered so I promptly took it back to the counter to say there must have been a mistake as I had ordered a brioche loaf with poached fruit. I was told that we had not been charged for that meal and instead charged for a different one. I suggested that I pay the difference to have poached fruit added, to which the response was "that is a completely different meal". So I took the bland looking toasted "brioche" back to our table and attempted to eat it. One bite of what can only be described as stale bread with tasteless mascarpone and jam. When my second coffee arrived at the table I suggested that my plate could be taken as I was not able to eat it. We eat out for breakfast most weekends, and I have not experienced such poor customer service. We would recommend anyone to go to one of the other cafes in the area (there are a lot of good ones, but this is not one of them!).

10th November 2012 Hi there, thanks for your feedback. I am really sorry about your recent experience at S&D, the staff at fault have been reprimanded. We also changed the dish' name - deleted brioche loaf from "Pain perdu" to prevent confusion because we do have another dish called toast brioche. The involved staff warmly welcome you back to try our Pain perdu for free and have a chance to see their improvement. As the owner, I also warmly welcome you back.
