26th October 2010 Staying at the Methven Camping ground was the biggest mistake we made on the long weekend. The owner was rude and although we had paid $800 for accomodation because he had not told us we couldnt have our kids at the campsite we had to leave and seek other accomodation. We were treated rudely and then were only refunded a fith of what we paid with a promise of more should he be able to rent out the cabins we had vacated. On return to the site we were told he had not rented out some and were abused and told to leave
