29th March 2011 I have dinned here a few times and it is a wonderful place. You would be advised to book as it is busy always which shows it must be good. Have patience as sometimes service can be a little slow due to its popularity. But the staff are wonderful and the food is define. The chef is so friendly as well. This has to be one of the best restaurants I have ever dinned in. All I can say that is lacking might be the view but who needs a view with good wine, good food, good service and the company is up to you.

20th July 2010 Unless you live in or have friends who live in or near Pt Chev you will likely not know about this place but it is fantastic! Italian cuisine to die for. Even on supposedly quiet week nights you will be hard pressed to get a table unless you have booked as the locals love the food so much (and so do I). The owner is also the chef and he never lets you down down on flavour. Try the house wine as well, it's just as delicious as the meals.

13th July 2010 Probably my favourite Italian Restaurant. It is a cosy venue and always very busy. Need to book I would say. The food has always been great. I usually get the creamy chicken livers for entree and the creamy shredded lamb for my main. Both outstanding dishes.
It is unfortunate the below reviewer had a bad experience. I have been to this restaurant many times over the years and while I agree that the waiting staff are a bit too busy...the service has been acceptable and the chef great. He usually comes out of the kitchen at the end of the night to see if all the guests have enjoyed their dinner. And you get a free limoncello at the end of your meal. I would that the meals are a bit pricey for a little place in Pt Chev...but overall I love it.

18th December 2008 A group of us went there for dinner on a Saturday. Nice Italian decor and the waitress greeted us with a smile. Sadly though it took 2 hours before she even took our order! We sat their waiting and watching her serve others (it was too busy for one waitress to handle..that was obvious) and then wonder what to do next. Once we did get our food it was nice enough. I ordered tortenelli filled with chicken but ended up with ricotta cheese and a couple of pieces of chicken on the plate instead. But it was good enough. Sadly it also took 3 requests to have our bill brought to the table. That didnt work so we ended up having to go to the counter and wait for it to be totalled. The downside to this experience (and the reason I only gave 2 stars) was the rudeness and arrogance of the chef. When we asked about the bill he said "its coming" then procceded to stand around, then blamed the waitress for the slowness due to her "boyfriend leaving her". If that wasnt enough he then decided to insult the waitress numerous times right in front of customers!! I told him he was mean but he obviously didnt care as he just laughed. That kind of arrogance is unacceptable. Needless to say we wont be going back there.

9th February 2007 fabulous food, friendly staff, can get a little noisy/crowded but adds to the atmosphere & food can sometimes take a little while to get to the table, but is definitely worth the wait. Has to be my all time favourite restaurant.
