HISTORY

With just $25,000 of borrowed capital, Bernard Rapoport founded American Income Life more than 50 years ago. Mr. Rapoport encouraged our agency and founder of AIL of New Zealand Ltd. Managing Director Steve Friedlander to bring AIL to the beautiful country of NZ.

Today, American Income (AIL) has become one of the nation's largest providers of supplemental life insurance to labour unions, credit unions, and associations. AIL provides coverage to over millions of policyholders and represents over $120 million in annual insurance product sales worldwide. Our company's growth has been sustained through high customer satisfaction, innovative lead programs, word of mouth referrals, and one of the most lucrative Agent compensation programs in the industry. There are currently over 150 agents in New Zealand from Invercargill to Northland.
