30th May 2012 I just went to Peninsula medical this morning for my son. I saw Dr Mark Bishop and I have say that I have never received such FANTASTIC service from a doctor. He was very clear in how he explained things and was not in any rush to get me out the door. Thank you again for the great experience, it really made may day!!
16th August 2013 Dr Mesui, Dr McLeod and Dr Bishop are great.
Most of the nurses are great with the exception of the crazy Barbara but I don't see her now.

6th September 2012 Having been a patient of this practice since the very beginning, and bringing 2 children and a husband into the fold, I have to say how disappointing the journey ended up.
Once upon a time this was a family friendly practice.
Now it's just an impersonal business. It's no use trying to discuss with the practice manager. She just won't return your calls. Probably there is no almighty dollar at the end of a phone call.
It was a heart wrenching decision to leave after so many years, but am happy to say, I have found a Dr's that practices the good old fashioned way.

9th June 2012 I phoned for an appt - the first since my previous Dr retired and transfered his patient list to this centre - was told only drop in clinic for my Dr that day and to come along after 10am. I went about 11.10am. Was told that the drop in finished at 12 (this was not told to me on the ph.) and asked if could come back at 3pm. I couldn't do that as I have grandchildren after school so they said I could wait and would be seen. Another lady and her young baby were waiting when I arrived and she and I were that last in the waiting room about an hour later. She was told she'd be after me, so I said for her to go before me. However they must have realised she had waited some time and got a different Dr to see her. I initially sat with my back to the entrance below the high windows and there was a cold draught. When other seats became available I moved. I had to ask for the radio in the waiting room to be turned down as it was quite loud and I had a bad headache. About quarter to one, I had been the only person in the waiting room for some time so I enquired whether I had been forgotten about and was assured I hadn't been. I overheard a receptionist tell someone on the phone, all the drs were at lunch. At 1.10pm I left - not having seen a Dr. I emailed them to describe my first experience with them and have never received acknowledgement or response. The cost of visiting a Dr there is much more than I have been used to in the past, and I'm afraid much more than my budget is likely to be able to manage. All in all - a very poor experience, and although the Dr I have been assigned (Bishop) may be very good, I am making enquiries about an alternate Dr in the area.

17th October 2011 I went to The Peninsula Medical Centre last week and have to say how wonderful the service and caring nature of the receptionist and the Doctor where. The receptionist without any prompting realised that I need to have some time with the Doctor on my own so gave my daughter coloured pens and paper and kept an eye on her while I was in seeing the doctor. Thanks so much as often you are not feeling your best when going to the doctors so to be welcomed with a lovely smile and a really caring attitude and professional knowledge makes it a real pleasure coming in for an appointment. Big Thanks especially to Jean and Fiona :)

5th September 2011 I have been two times per week for the past month for dressings on a wounded leg - and what an amazing service provided by the nursing team. Injections, swabs, checks and progressive dressings as the wound healed. Great stuff. Thanks a heap.

17th August 2011 I have recently enrolled my family with the Peninsula Medical Centre and have visited on numerous occasions. We have found them very helpful, conscientious, prompt and attentive. We have always had great service from the Doctors, nurses and administrative staff.

29th October 2010 I previously went to a small well established practice in the City and found them to be fantastic. After moving back out West, and because we are looking to start a family I decided I should find a local GP and establish a relationship. The Peninsula Medical Centre seemed like a good choice because it was conveniently located and had a number of facitilies onsite.
Unfortunately my first visit there was not unsatisfactory. I mentioned at the beginning of the consultation that I needed a medical certificate for work, and the doctor proceeded to ask me how long I would like to have it written out for without even examining me. I have been advised that this doctor is no longer with the practice.
The clinic looks and feels like an Accident & Emergency Centre rather than a GP's office, and the customer service that I have since received from reception staff, nurses and doctor has been impersonal, lacking in sensitivity and disappointing. I am now looking for a new GP.
