As a part of the team of Blitza Pizza I take full responsibility for this and apologize. There are times we are extremely busy specially on the weekends and the orders take time and can sometimes get mixed up. I would like this costumer to come back to us and let me know before ordering so that I can make it up to them and ensure our best services always. Our first trip to this restaurant but would definately not recommend it as it was not a good experience. After arrving,no-one asked if we would like a drink, waited about 25 minutes before out order was taken. Of the 6 people 3 people ordered a starter, they arrived 15 minutes apart. For the main course I ordered a vegetarian pizza but a meat pizza arrived about 1/2 hour later!!!! The waiter was abrupt and seemed to blame me for this error, being very dismissive with "well I didnt take the order" & curtly advised that the replacement (correct) order would take another 23 minutes. We also overheard the next table to us were having problems with their wine order. When everyone at our table had finished eating the correct order arrived with not one word of apology from ther waiter. Even at the end of the meal no-one apologised for this to me. Not a good night and a definate lack of customer service. Will not be going to this restaurant again or will we recommend to anyone. The attitude of this waiter was rude, abrupt and totally unacceptable.

I had the pizza a few times and it is really good. I also had dinner here twice and everyone at the table loved everything about this place. The service is great and the food is truly amazing. I loved the mousaka. I strongly advise to give it a try!

Loved it! I have been several times to Blitza Pizza and have thoroughly enjoyed every visit. The service is always friendly; great range of food and drink on the menu (not just pizza), and the food is delicious. I also love the feel of the place with it's bare brick walls and warm lighting.

lived in the area all my life and have seen many restuarnts come and go however blitza has always stayed which is great because the food is outstanding esp the chicken fettucine and the lamb pizza ( meediteranian I think ) ...service is good but definately the food is the highlight!!

We eat at Blitza fairly regularly- I am disabled and they are always very helpful - we take overseas students there since most of them love pizza - and they have all enjoyed it enough to warrant requests of takeaway pizza from Blitza. Love the garlic/cheese pizza - these are served fast and we get these takeaway too. The desserts are wonderful - we also get these takeaway regularly and although restaurant price they are generous and able to be shared (except we tend to want to eat one each!) We live locally and often going by Blitza they are busy after many years - this should indicate to diners that they have consistency of both food & service. Only wish they had a local delivery service!!!

Average food and rather poor, off-hand service. My daughter had been mailed an offer of a "free meal" for her birthday and so we decided to go there for our celebration dinner. Very offhand service when I arrived, I asked for my daughter's table and the owner nodded with his head to the back of the place. We were a party of seven adult dinners. My daughter mentioned the "free meal" offer when she arrived and again to the waitress when ordering her meal. We had originally booked for 6 but 7 turned up. We asked for an extra place setting but the waitress forgot us and had to be asked again. It took quite a while to get our meals although the waitress did apologise saying that they were busy that night (Tuesday). A few people there that night but it didn't look that busy. When we left my daughter was charged for her meal. When we queried this with the owner he said that the waitress was new and "didn't know the rules about free meal offers". It seems that only some meals are included in the free offer but the rules around this are not obvious. After some discussion the owner decided to charge for half of my daughter's meal. His attitude was very offhand and didn't seem to care that this issue had spoiled a celebration dinner and also didn't seem to care if we came back again or not. We wont be going back!

i was horrified to read how you and your party was treated. this is not acceptable from any of my staff. the person you refered to is not the owner. It is clearly stated on the birthday card, free meal is 1 main and 1 dessert. all mains from our menu are included. pizzas on on our mains menu are regular size as stated. if you ordered a large pizza it should of been pointed out to you that they are not on the mains menu and i apologise for that.the reason that your daughter was charged for half the meal is because she shared this with another diner who didnt order. we would of expected 7 diners to order 6 meals plus the free main and i cannot understand how you can judge the quality of our food on these small order considering 1 was a salad. we at Blitza are very proud of our food quality and would like the oppotunity to prove to you that our food is not averageor rather poor but above average and of good value

Fantastic service and pasta that is the epitomy of everything pasta should be. Only downfall was the steak, I asked for well-done and got medium at best. On a positive note, I tasted my partners pasta and it was devine, easily the best pasta I have had in any of the Italian restaurants I have tried in Auckland.

Went with a group of work mates for a catch up and the food was good value for money. Very generous helpings. The service was was good and the staff very friendly. A good place to go

Beautiful food without a doubt but about $5 per pizza to sit in and eat. Thought they were a little on the pricy side a small pizza for $19.50? ($14.50 takeout) although it was good.

Been here a couple of times, and each time have had great service and perfect food. Hard to find a good place on the shore that ticks all boxes, and personally thought was fantastic! Also been once with my 10month old who was treated to fresh pasta cooked especially for him (no sauces, salts etc) and they didn't even flinch when he decided to throw it everywhere! Love that place!
