Stud welding is an electric arc welding process, providing a bond or weld that is stronger than the metal of the stud and the work. Nelson Stud Welding can weld up to 45 studs per minute. There's no distortion of structural members, and the equipment is so light it can be used almost anywhere. It can be used for bearing plates, column base plates and other steel and concrete elements.
