Boilers have progressively become bigger and a water tube range was introduced 15 years ago. There has also been a gradual progression from boilers into work with pressure vessels. However, there haven't been any significant changes in design apart from the need to be right up to date with modern electronic controls.

Scotts Engineering Co. Ltd, the manufacturer of pressure vessels, is proud of its history in design and development. So confident is it in the integrity of its designs that in over 45 years of manufacturing boilers, Scotts Engineering has preferred not make boilers under license for any other company, despite numerous offers.

The company has in house design facilities, using up to date CAD design equipment. Several designs of boilers are available to suit individual processes and varying fuel choices.
