Tasman Engineering Company was formed over 42 years ago to service the demand for pressed and turned components for New Zealand industry, and was one of the first companies to install a range of single spindle automatic lathes in the Auckland area. The company has been involved in the manufacturing of Projection Screens since 1961.
A lot has changed over these 42 years of course. In the early 90s, Winston Miskelly split off the screen division of Tasman Engineering and formed Tasman Screens. Since then Tasman Screens has gone on to become New Zealand's leading projection screen supplier and we still manufacture over 50% of our turnover here in New Zealand. Thanks to our manufacturing and great partners in the US, Draper and Elite Screens, we are able to supply the largest range of projection screens and associated products in NZ.
