20th December 2013 After buying a mattress over the phone that I had look at in store, I was very disspointed when I got the mattress at home. It was a King Single Bliss and I bought it for my 2 years old son. If an adult lays on it, you will feel the bottom of the mattress and this cost me $250. It was almost like the mattress I bought wasn't the same quality as the one I tried on in store. I sent Big Save Furniture an email and they coudn't even be bother to call me back. When my husband called, after 3 days to ask how their return policy worked; they immediately said we couldn't return the mattress as we didn't buy their mattress protector so the mattress woul be considered a second hand one. Guess what? The sales person hadn't told us that which I find very misleading as it is their responsibility to explain their return policy to customers. Poor quality of product, poor product, will never buy anything from them again.

2nd February 2011 Comments: I went to your store in kilbirnie today to do a price comparison on tallboys for my children's' rooms. I like most new zealanders will buy items from a store depending how I am treated in the store. I was asked if I needed help by a woman in her forties with spikey blond hair. I asked her a couple of questions about prices of items and found her tone when she was talking to me extremely rude and very defensive when I mentioned that a drawer was sticking. She absolutely put me off buying anything from your store which is a shame because I actually found the products very good. I refuse to buy things from someone who is possibly on commision when I am treated like that and at the next store found a comparable product and spent over $700 there. I just think that management should know when they are employing 'sales' staff who are losing them money by their attitudes
