Having read a previous review that stated that the staff at the Wellington shop were rude and unfriendly, I want to thoroughly disagree with what was stated. I love shopping at this store. The staff are very friendly and always treat me very well. They see a lot of me as I am a regular visitor. They are helpful and polite and always pleasant.
I have been going to this store for many years and see it as a treat to be let loose in there to potter around whenever I can spare the time.
I also get a lot of craft supplies for work functions at this store and never leave without everything I need to make my ideas come to fruition.
Keep up the good service, I appreciate it.

Been going here for years so I know 3 staff members quite well who are friendly to me. The rest are terrible and that includes the store manager Carol. She is gross and smokes out in the car park in front of customers. She is possibly the rudest of all the staff. When you complain she defends her staff, never apolagises or does anything to amend the situation. I've had many bad experiences including faulty birch zips that I had already sewn into at least 30 dresses. No compensation for lost sales and time spent unpicking and re sewing in better YKK zips. Faulty fabric with holes (I often brought by the bolt). They never do the right thing. Instead of offering a discount on faults they just cut around it and charge the same amount. They can't cut straight and over charge rather than under charge. Stores are messy under staffed and staff not trained in any way it seems. Pins, unpickers, marking pens are rubbish. Fabric is grossly over priced and prices keep rising. Even on sale it's still cheaper to go to the fabric warehouse next door. Stay away. We need to stop funding this disgusting corporation.
