28th August 2010 I have only bought takeaways here, so please bear that in mind. High quality Thai food. Certainly the best that I have tried in the area. A fraction on the pricey side. However you get what you pay for and I still believe Lai Thai offers good value. My Thai takeaway of choice in West Auckland.

23rd August 2010 We went to the Lai Thai for the first time last week and definitely will be back. Very friendly service and great food (I had the Chicken Penang and the best Vanilla Ice Cream for dessert). The only thing letting it down a little bit is the tired decor, but once the beautiful food arrives on the table, you don't notice that anymore.
Not sure why the other review said that finding a car park is difficult- there is a huge, free car park right behind the restaurant.
