I took my watch in to get a new battery. The person at the checkout took my watch and said they would contact me when it was done or if there was work needed on it. I got a text from them saying it was ready to pick up. When I get there, the retailer tells me that a "coil" in the watch was broken and they had fixed it without ringing me. the cost was $74 and they wouldn't give my watch back until I paid them. Since it's a $300 watch I paid them. I will never go there again and warn anyone in Palmerston North to stay away.
