11th June 2013 Heard they were well regarded but my experience was very poor.
Went in Saturday morning while in palmy knowing which 2 DSLR models I was interested in from web search. Was honest that I had enquired elsewhere and had reasonable price offered but they were struggling to find stock for outgoing model. I was therefore looking to see if the models I was interested were available and at what price. Asked to view one of them that I have not seen (only viewed online) and was astounded when the gentleman said he didn't want to open cabinet for me as he thought I was just fishing for better price.
He said he wasn't interested in helping me get a better price elsewhere!
Rather than point out that he had (mis) judged me without trying understand my purchasing desire, I politely thanked him for his time and left.
I have since purchased the camera, ( the higher model) from another shop.
Sorry Bruce Watts, you missed that sale and I won't visit your shop again.

11th March 2008 Easily the top camera store in Palmerston North and one of the best in the North Island. Bruce Watt Photography has been around for literally decades. Dave and his team are enthusiasts so they know their stuff. Fraser is a respected camera reviewer. They're located on the square and open weekends so accessibility is superb. Last but not least they have an excellent selection backed up by knowledgeable advice.
