10th January 2010 i have been to this holiday park several times through the the year,and it just keeps on getting better & better!!!!!!the owners are so accomadating friendly & funny. The holiday stayers are so friendly.A great atmosphere is felt as soon as you enter the office to book in,following are the free range chickens,coming onto the most pristine grounds i have ever seen in a camping enviroment,needless to say that all the toilets,showers,kitchen and laundry are kept immaculate.!i am looking forward to many more stays this year,(cant wait to see what else will be added to grounds).

Travel just 25 minutes north from the Christchurch airport on Highway 1 to Woodend, turn left at the Gateway Hotel and another 3kms to the Woodend Beach Holiday Park. There in this 55 acre parklike atmosphere you will wake up to the sound of bellbirds. Sealed roads, tidy, clean amenities adjacent to reserve and beach. Large campsites amongst trees and gardens. Three children's playgrounds, bmx track, free bbqs, tv room, bird avairy and minigolf. Situated on the Pegasus Bay Walkway linking Kairaki Beach and Waikuku Beach. Wineries, fishing rivers and golf courses are close by.
Our facilities include power and non-power sites, cabins, motel units, kitchen, laundry, showers and toilets plus office and shop.
Rates: Powered sites - $14 per adult, $6 per child
Non powered sites - $13 per adult, $6 per child

3rd December 2008 This is a lovely relaxing holiday park. The owners are very friendly and obliging and have made huge improvements since taking possesion. It is a great family park with very easy access to the beach.
