11th October 2010 I had been meaning to visit this place for some time, my mum was visiting from up north & I was able to get a deal on a new site. Was halfprice for the dinner & kiwi tour! Wasnt sure what to expect, but the experience overall was great. Food was tasty, we got to sit near a massive open fire, see some Fallow Deer from our table. Afterwards, went through the Kiwi tour, our guide was very friendly & really knew his stuff! Was fantastic to be able to see real kiwis within arms reach & with no glass in sight!(never had that before ever!) I had a kiwi just 1/2 a foot away from me! my mum was also blown away by our night at Willowbank & wants to visit again in the day time on her next visit down. Willowbank is a hidden treasure & deserves much more exposure. Is a truely unique must see experience.
