Out of the five retailers I contacted, Kitchen Things were by far the most prompt and offered me a deal $180 cheaper than their nearest rival on the front loading washing machine I was interested in. While they have a fantastic range of quality brands, I still conducted thorough independent research into what brand and model I chose by using http://www.productreview.com.au/ . The staff I dealt with were friendly and professional going above and beyond to meet my needs (regarding delivery). Without hesitation I would highly recommend Kitchen Things - Christchurch, to family and friends.

Microwave, oven, rangehood and fridge we brought from them have all been faulty. When we contacted them about the fridge they put us back to the importer, though the Consumer Guarantees Act (CGA) says they can't do that. The importer has failed to fix anytthing. In relation to the microwave, Kitchen' Things told us to take it to Next Electrical to get fixed, but then decided to replace it, but not before it had been fixed, then they refused to either replace it or pay for the repair. So not only did they not meet their obligations under the CGA, and sell a complete set of faulty goods, they reneged on their offer to put right the microwave. No integrity.
