Beware of this business! They claim to provide a water taxi service to the Lake Waikaremoana Great Walk, but are extremely unreliable. Our pickup at the end of the walk was scheduled for 2pm. We waited till 5.20pm before they arrived, during which time there was no communication that they were going to be delayed. In such a remote location, you expect a certain standard of reliability, which Big Bush does not provide. It certainly put a dampener on an otherwise wonderful experience at Lake Waikaremoana.
