Nimon and Sons was established in 1905, and is still owned by the Nimon family today. It is based in Havelock North where its main office, a depot, and workshop facilities are located. There are also depots in Napier and Taupo. The Company operates a fleet of around 100 vehicles in a variety of capacities. We provide luxury tours NZ-wide as well as local bus services.

TRACK RECORD:
The track record of Nimon and Sons Ltd. over the last 100 years is well known and documented. We have extensive school bus contracts with the Ministry of Education with whom we have had an association for over 60 years. We supply workers transport for Pan Pac Forest Products Ltd on a 24 hour/ 7 days a week basis. Our coach fleet undertakes tours and travel anywhere in the country.

The Company is believed to be the oldest established passenger service operation under continuous private ownership in New Zealand

TECHNICAL SKILLS/ PERSONELL RESOURCES:
Nimon and Sons has a full workshop maintaining the bus and coach fleet to better than Certificate of Fitness standards. A wide range of work is carried out on both the company's own vehicles and for outside customers. We are an approved Tranzqual Workplace Training and Assessment provider, enabling our drivers to excel at their job.

COMPANY ACCREDITATION STATUS:
Nimon and Sons Ltd holds a current Passenger Service Licence and Vehicle Rental Service Licence, these satisfying legislative requirements for us to operate our business. We are Qualmark Enviro Bronze endorsed and belong to the NZ Bus & Coach Association as well as the Tourist Industry Association of NZ.
