29th November 2007 this pool rocks, its perfectly good for an 11 year old as my-self to learn to swim in, i think your review is very inaccurate and i also think that you were in a very grumpy mood while you were swimming.
thank you,
29th November 2007 I think that this review is very inaccurate as the eleven year old I am, I dont find it at all hard to learn to swim, my eight year old sister is coping well also. I also think you were in a misreble mood when you first came and swam at the lido, everybody I know would rate it at least a four star. I use to live in the U.K and the lido is at least twice as good as the best one there.
Thank you

25th October 2007 A very disappointing pool. There are 2 big pools - one called leisure and one called active. It would make sense to have the leisure pool heated a bit warmer as they are quite cold. Also for a supervising parent of several children it is almost impossible to supervise your children when the pools are not all visible at once. I also hate the fact the pools get deeper in the middle which is quite confusing for younger children who suddenly find themselves out of their depths. I have seen some great pools around the country, especially those with colours painted on the bottom so children can clearly see where it gets deeper. Am also disappointed there is no medium depth pool suitable for learner swimmers as the toddler pool is really only for the very tinies.
