Brianne Kerr set up her own freelance Publicity business mid 2004 and has been run off her feet ever since!
Born in Thames; raised in mighty Timaru; studied acting in Christchurch at the National Academy of Singing and Dramatic Arts (NASDA), graduating 2001 with a Bachelor of Performing Arts; Bri is now based in the cultural capital, Wellington.
Bri was awarded a Business Enterprise Grant from Positively Wellington Business (2004) and a few short years within the creative community she has built a solid reputation as an effective and pro-active freelance Publicist.
As the publicist for over 140 diverse artistic projects in the last four years Bri has obtained extensive media coverage and used her expertise to get bums on seats!
Bri also still loves acting, has taught drama at Stagestar in Johnsonville for the last five years and spends her spare time reading, enjoying plays, singing show tunes and drinking far too much coffee.
I am an enthusiastic and effective publicist who can help you grow an audience, launch an event, plan media involvement, and enhance your project. I have a working knowledge of New Zealand wide media and am actively involved in the arts community. I am able to work in tandem with existing staff to maximise media involvement and public awareness. I am extremely dedicated to my clients and proud of the work we do together.
So if you have an artistic endeavour be it a play, band, movie, book, exhibit, festival, or special event in the works contact Brianne Kerr Publicity for a free consultation.
