Lions Quest programmes are owned, promoted and financially supported by Lions Clubs of NZ.
Lions Quest Skills for Living programs promote strengths-based practice in schools. It is a value based social skills programme that provides esential tools for teachers to create classrooms that empower students to develop confidence, to be connected in relationships, become actively involved in a range of life contexts and to become life long learners.
Lions Quest programmes closely aligns with the Ministry of Education Curriculum with a focus on principles, values and key compentencies, they are not an 'add on' for at the heart of the programme is the belief that young people are resources who can make a postive difference in the world. It is most effectively achieved by training teachers/caregivers/youth leaders in a 2 day workshop providing them with comprehensive curriculum guides so that it can be linked within the essential learning skills.
