Would never rent from Harcourts again. Paid $550 leasing fee. We were promised the 10 days until occupation everything would be finalised in the house. They refused to meet us at the house to go thru the property report. We paid and signed at their office I.e. Would leave the garden weed free etc, steam clean all the carpets at the end of the lease etc etc etc etc. Upon arrival at the house the garden was a mess the lawn overgrown, the carpets dirty as was the house generally, back door didn't open Upon contacting Harcourts we requested a meeting with the landlord as well as them. They didn't have time was their answer. They outrightly refused to do an inspection. What did we pay $550 for? We have only been in the country a week and have to buy all our furniture along with lots of other things to do. We paid $3000 upfront and went thru an agent so we would have no problems upon moving in. Big mistake!!!!!
