12th August 2011 Ordered a mix of kiln dried pine and medium grade wood well before the start of winter. The wood was delivered mixed up and almost impossible to sort. Worse still, the wood was so wet that the creosote it produced clogged my flue in a fire that was less than a year old. When I had the fire cleaned out, the sweep pulled out a softball size lump of charred resin from the wet wood. Will not use this company again.

2nd June 2010 I'd heard great things about this company, but the wood was delivered rain-wet and nearly impossible to burn, even though it was kiln-dried. We got the pine offcuts because we're on a tight budget, so we didn't expect it to be brilliant, but when you pay extra for "kiln-dried" wood, you expect it to be burnable when it's delivered. When I rang to complain, the explained that A) we should've bought our wood in the summertime (well duh, if we hadn't just moved in, maybe we would have), and B) it's been raining lately. Really? I hadn't noticed! I was also told that the pine logs are stored indoors, but the offcuts are not. I have to ask myself what's the point of kiln-drying it if you're just going to store it outside in the rain afterwards? And why deliver it in open trucks when it's raining if you're advertising dry wood??? NOT IMPRESSED.
