On arrival at the Aalton Motel with my young family we were immediately made to feel welcome. The owners helped with our baggage and were keen to provide us with lots of information about the area. We settled in easily to the well maintained and clean accomodation. As a family place to stay we found it ideal, being close to local shops and restaurants but only a short walk through the park to the city centre. If we return to Christchurch we would definitely book in again.
