11th April 2009 Our first impression of the Mossburn Hotel was not particularly good. It is a busy pub with accommodation. In actual fact, we were pleasantly surprised because the meal we had in the restaurant was very good and the accommodation, although pretty basic, was quiet and comfortable. The room where we had breakfast acts as the guest's tv lounge and this could have been tidier.
