The Longford Tavern officially opened on the 7th of December 1970. The name originated from the old name for East Gore.

Manager : Chris Scoles

Major renovations were undertaken in 1998/99 creating a new neighbourhood tavern and changing the existing upstairs bar into an entertainment and function centre.
