Wesfarmers Industrial and Safety division is Australia and New Zealand(TM)s leading supplier of industrial and safety consumables. It provides engineering products and industrial consumables, safety, packaging, materials handling and lifting products and services to industry and government.
The division comprises a number of broad product supply and specialist businesses. Blackwoods, the largest, has an extensive national network and breadth of product range and includes Bakers Construction and Industrial and Atkins Electrical Supplies. Blackwoods is complemented in Australia by four specialist businesses which provide depth of expertise in selected product and industry segments: Protector Alsafe; Bullivants; Total Fasteners; and Motion Industries.
The New Zealand businesses include the generalist maintenance, repair and operating (MRO) products and engineering distributor Blackwoods Paykels, and three specialist distribution businesses: NZ Safety; Protector Safety; and Packaging House. Safety Source, a manufacturing and technical services business, also operates in New Zealand.
